Hi! I’m Allison, and I’m honored to have the opportunity to represent my organization, Jobie sisters and promote our philanthropic project, H.I.K.E., throughout the state as your Junior Miss Florida Job’s Daughter 2024-2025.
The Hearing Improvement Kids Endowment (H.I.K.E.) Fund’s purpose is to provide hearing devices for children with hearing losses between the ages of newborn and twenty years. An estimated 100 children are provided with hearing devices each year. Since the inception of the HIKE program, $199,821 dollars in grant money has been given just to children in Florida alone!
I want everyone to know Florida is “Hear to Help”! To begin my term, I’ve challenged our lodges to a Penny War. I invite each person to not only participate but to learn more about HIKE and help this amazing program. I’m excited to see how much awareness we bring throughout the year!
As I travel the state I will be selling my pins to benefit my travel fund as well as a special HIKE pin for my term. All proceeds from the HIKE pin will be donated to the charity!ut Florida by connecting with our appendant bodies.
