Jobie-to-Bees
A bit of History
The Jobie-to-Bee program started in 1988 in Washington State, USA as a way to encourage young girls to be excited about Job’s Daughters while waiting to turn 10 years old. The program has been buzzing ever since!
Who is a Jobie-to-Bee?
She is a young girl (usually between 7-9) who would like to make new friends and participate in new experiences while learning the basics of Job’s Daughters.
She can build self-confidence, be of service to others, enjoy fun activities, travel, and participate in local, state, and international events.
What do Bees Do?
They have fun of course! A Jobie-to-Bee will get to know the other Bees who are looking forward to joining Job’s Daughters.
They will also meet the Daughters of the Bethel who will one day become their sisters.
A group of Bees associated with a Bethel is called a Beehive. A Beehive will often hold their activities in conjunction with the Bethel and under the supervision of a Bethel Beekeeper. The idea of a Beehive is to foster the bonds of friendship and sisterhood between the Bees and the Daughters of the Bethel.
